Coming to therapy can start with a quiet question: “How can I make sense of what I am going through?” I am so glad you are here to explore it together.
My name is Dina, and I am a CDA-Licensed Psychologist. Along with my extensive years of work as a Registered Psychotherapist in Ontario, I have a background in higher education and teaching, which informs how I work in therapy. I am passionate about supporting meaningful personal growth, bringing the curiosity, analytical thinking, and supportive guidance I have gained through my experiences into my therapy practice.
A Palestinian-Canadian now based in Dubai, I draw on twelve years of life in Canada to inform a culturally sensitive and socially aware approach to therapy. I hold deep respect for the many ways people make sense of their experiences, identities, and relationships. These perspectives are not just acknowledged in my work, they are central to how I connect with clients and create a space where you feel seen, understood, and valued.
My clinical work is also shaped by my lived experience as a mother. Parenthood can profoundly and unexpectedly shift one’s sense of self, priorities, and relationships. I support clients in exploring these changes with curiosity and compassion, helping them make meaning of how life transitions ripple into their inner world and connections with others.
My therapeutic approach is collaborative, flexible, and grounded in care. My goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your experiences openly. I provide guidance and gentle challenge when it’s needed, helping you take actionable steps that align with your values and aspirations.
If this resonates, I welcome the opportunity to connect and see how I might support you.
