Over the course of six weeks, you will
Learn how anxiety plays out in your mind and body
Discover the link between your anxious thoughts and behaviors
Develop tools and strategies to help you manage and overcome your anxiety
Practice using your new coping strategies week by week
Build a network of support with your group members
All strategies and techniques are evidence-based.
We are running separate groups for adults (ages 21+) and teenagers (ages 14-19).
(Teens) Dates & time: Wednesdays from 4:00 to 5:30pm
(Adults) Dates & time: Wednesdays from 6:00 to 7:30pm
Dates: October 9th, October 16th, October 30th, November 6th, November 13th, and November 20th.
To gain the best experience, a commitment to attend all sessions is recommended.
The groups will be conducted in a confidential and safe space. You get to decide how much or how little you would like to share.
A minimum of 5 members is needed to begin the group; and seats are limited to a maximum of 8 members.
The group will be facilited by Malak Kamel (M.A.).
