As a highly qualified psychologist with extensive experience spanning three different continents, my main ambition has always been to make a tangible and lasting difference to the lives of others. Equipping my clients with strategies to overcome emotional challenges, achieve personal growth and build fulfilling lives has been the unequivocal driving force throughout my career. Through a process of trust and validation, I empower my clients so that they can learn to flourish and truly thrive.
Over the past 15 years, I have worked with people from a diverse range of backgrounds in Canada, Malaysia and the UAE; regardless of age, ethnicity or social background, genuine care and respect are always at the heart of my practice. The three countries I have called home have given me a highly nuanced and sensitive cultural awareness, for which I am extremely grateful.
My qualifications include; M.Ed in Counselling Psychology from Memorial University Canada, B.Ed in Education from Memorial University Canada and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Diploma From the University of Calgary Canada. I use a range of CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) and ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) techniques with an approach that is solution- focused and client-centred. I am also extensively trained in diagnostic Psycho-educational and neuropsychological assessment, using state of the art tests and tools grounded in evidence-based approaches.
I have walked many journeys with many clients – both individuals and families – each time, with compassion, commitment and care. If you would like to embark on a journey of positive growth, please feel free to get in touch.
