How to deal with anxiety?
We offer an evidence-based treatment for anxiety and anxiety disorders, based on the principles of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). It is a short-term treatment, with clients usually requiring between 4-12 sessions. We aim to make ourselves redundant, by equipping you with the coping strategies you need. Remember, the 1st step is often the hardest - it’s OK to ask for help.
What do we do during a session?
We work on identifying the link between how we think, feel, and behave. We then work on changing these unhealthy and unhelpful patterns. You will be given tasks between sessions to help us identify which strategies work best for you.
