Dr. Ioannis Delipalas is a Swedish Board-certified Consultant in adult psychiatry.

He obtained his medical degree from Democritus University of Alexandroupolis, Greece in 2001.

He then moved to Sweden where he successfully completed a 5-year residency program in general adult psychiatry in two of the most prestigious hospitals in Scandinavia - Akademiska hospital in Uppsala and Karolinska hospital in Stockholm. He was accredited his specialty degree in 2009 from the Swedish Board of Health and Welfare and worked afterwards both in public sector as Senior Consultant mostly in out-care patient units but also as locum Consultant in all major hospitals in Stockholm county.

Also , Dr. Delipalas successfully completed a 2-year qualifying training course in psychodynamic psychotherapy in S:t Lukas College in Stockholm.

Dr. Delipalas has been involved in clinical supervision for young residents in Karolinska Hospital
