I am an experienced psychotherapist with a genuine passion for helping individuals feel less anxiety and stress so they can develop confidence and thrive in their personal and professional relationships.
I believe the most compassionate thing I can do as a therapist is to help my clients reach their ultimate goals and dreams in life.

In my sessions, my focus is on providing practical skills and strategies to create a positive and long-term change. Specifically, I use emotion regulation strategies, mindfulness, interpersonal relationship skills, self-care and distress tolerance skills to balance acceptance and change.

In my various professional training sites, I have become skilled in evidence based psychological assessment and intervention with a strong emphasis on the scientist-practitioner model. Prior to joining Thrive, I have worked as an Associate Professor of Psychology for 10 years.

I had a great experience with Dr Elif and with Thrive in general. Dr Elif is an excellent therapist with whom it was very easy to develop a trusting relationship. She is very empathetic and made me feel understood from the very start. I highly recommend Dr Elif to anyone who is suffering from anxiety and needs some guidance how to handle it.

The communication was seamless with Thrive, the bookings were quick and they sent me the necessary papers for insurance claims promptly. All in all, I was very happy with their service and shall I need guidance in the future, I will not hesitate to choose them again.
